Lora's Portrait

Lora's is the second portrait I've finished for my research project into identity.

Lora's took longer to complete than Kristyna's, partly because of the design - the portrait takes up more space on the canvas comparitively...

 But also because of the fiddliness of the smaller elements, especially the star-shaped earrings were a bit of a nightmare to get right.

I'm really happy with how this one has turned out - I think Lora's colour choice worked really well together and I think this portrait captures Lora's bright and positive energy but also her boss-girl "Don't fuck with me" aura, that I deeply respect.

The digital images can't really capture the texture I've created, but I think it makes it more special when you get to see the paintings in person.
