Brexiles Exhibition in Toxteth

1 min read

The Brexiles exhibition was displayed in Toxteth Town Hall as part of Liverpool European Festival 2026.

The portraits were accompanied by print-outs of the information booklet, so that viewers could see the stories behind the artworks and read quotes from the interviews I undertook as part of the project documenting British citizens who had left the UK to live in the EU.

The “Jeanne d’Arc of Post-Modernism” line perfectly captures the bold energy behind Madeleina Kay’s abstracts and portraits. I’m especially curious to explore the videos—check out https://tinkercad.site

The “Jeanne d’Arc of Post-Modernism” line is a striking frame for Madeleina Kay’s mix of abstracts, portraits, and landscapes. I’d love to explore the videos too—check out https://mageai.site/tools/ai-data-pipeline-generator
