Due to the 'Kaleidentity' portraits being displayed at Migration Matters Festival until 28th June, I only had 2 days to get my work up in the show - but there were no major hiccups, so it was plenty of time.

The bunting acted as a connecting thread, linking each of my ten research partiicpants together. I printed some of the key quotes from their interviews onto luggage tags, symbolic of migration as well as the "emotional baggage" they carry with them, and attached them to the rope alongside the flags.

The "Hate Dress" was also on display on a manequin - I had a bit of a panic because I couldn't get the waist of the dress over the manequin's shoulders, until my tutor told me that the manequins shoulders compressed inwards on springs!

It was a joy to spend these last few days of the course with some of the friends I have made.

At the preview evening, I loved seeing people's facial expressions / reactions to the "Hate Dress" when they read the text.

I performed on the preview night in front of the 'Kaleidentity' portraits - one of the songs I had written for one of my research participants who came along to see the exhibition with his son.

Several of my friends from the Remain/Rejoin movement came along too.

Including Bruce Tanner, a professional photographer who took these photos of my performance:
