Out-of-Map: Feminist Narratives of Public Space exhibition in Barcelona

I was honoured that my watercolour artwork 'Reclaim the Streets' was selected for a group exhibition exploring 'feminist narratives of public space', in Barcelona, organised by Rhizoma Lab which opened on the 8th October in Barcelona.

I created the artwork in 2020, it depicted the unjustifiable heavy-handed police response to peaceful protests in response to the rape and murder of Sarah Everard by a serving police officer during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The opening night was a huge success with an inspiring opening speech by Ada Colau, former Mayor of Barcelona and now candidate for Prime Minister in Spain's upcoming national elections.
