On Thursday 19th March, a series of my watercolour artworks of European landscapes were displayed as part of the 'European Horizons' event I helped to organise at the University of Sheffield, with the European Affairs Society and local group, Sheffield for Europe.

The set-up was quite stressful, as I wasn't sure from my conversations with the Student's Union, how much speace there would be on the tables and display boards for the artworks. So, I made an educated guess, ordering 12 x A4 frames and 1 x A3 frame, and frame holders for the table displays and bringing a further 28 in plastic sleeves for the display boards.

We only had one hour to set up the event room, so it was all hands-on-dechk and the students were really helpful and I think they had fun trying to match the labels up with the locations depicted in the paintings!

We had two incredible speakers for the event, Baroness Natalie Bennet (who was extremely popular with the students and my Dad who attended) and my dear friend, Livia Barreira who set up the International Women in Sheffield community.
After the event, we moved the exhibition out into the plaza in the Student's Union where it was displayed until the next week.
